In striving for the highest efficiency Ovotherm has successfully introduced a revolutionary outerpacking and transport system.
Sturdy and waterproof and 100% recyclable PE (Polyethylene) bags replace the cardboard outer boxes, this combined with a customised pallet system the space in trucks has been optimised to now reach an amazing increase of up to 60% more packs per load. This not only means a dramatic reduction of trucks on the road but also time and labour savings in handling at our customers´ warehouse as well as considerably less warehouse space required. This obviously results in a greatly improved CO2 balance and permanent reduction of supply chain cost at all stages from the factory of Ovotherm to the egg packing centers.

Ovotherm's clear egg packs are very strong, protecting the eggs – but very light in weight. One truck can transport twice as many Ovotherm packs than paper or foam packs – they take up 50% less space and this also means halved pollution! And of course Ovotherm packaging needs only half the storage capacity.
