Already since quite a long time the Polish egg producer, Fermy Kozlakiewicz, and Ovotherm are working together successfully. When Ovotherm developped the new Traypack for 20 and 30 eggs, an even more intensive and very fruitful co-operation started with this customer. In extensive tests in the packing station it showed, that Ovotherm's Traypack helped not only to save money but time and (broken) eggs. In comparison to other packaging materials, it takes only ca. 20% of the time (energy, labour, etc.) to pack the same amount of eggs in Traypack 20 and 30!
This was one of the reasons, why Carrefour Poland decided to use clear Ovotherm egg packs for their private label. Actually 8 different types of Ovotherm egg cartons made of recycled PET or PS can be seen in the egg displays of Carrefour super- and hypermarkets all over Poland.
Together with the sales director, Mr. Pawel Baluk, and the main buyer, Mr. Mariusz Maczewski, both from Fermy Kozlakiewicz, Ovotherm's sales manager, Mr. Norbert Papranec, worked at this important project. Right now, Fermy Kozlakiewicz is the main egg supplier for Carrefour Poland.
