Well- it's absolutely clear: To sell them well, boiled and coloured eggs need to be seen - and what could be better than packing them in glassclear egg cartons! In many European countries consumers like boiled and coloured eggs at Easter and the amount of "ready to eat" coloured eggs is growing every year in various countries. One of the reasons certainly is that the eggs are becoming more beautifully painted every year in very creative ways. Nearly all these eggs are packed in clear Ovotherm egg packs- favourites are Starpack for 6 or 7 eggs, Supersell for 6 or 10 eggs and Showcase for 9 eggs. Most of these packs are produced from recycled drinks bottles.
This year the easter-bunnies have to wait quite a long time for their performance because Easter is very late- 24/ 25. 4. 2011- but so, surely more healthy eggs will be sold and eaten!
