Follow the Star...

... and you arrive in Barbados! A really magic name when you think sunshine, white beaches and vacation. But also an island where the "Bajans"- as they call themselves- are world champions in the consumption of chickenmeat, served really spicy! And of course they love to eat their locally laid fresh eggs.
The pioneer in egg marketing, Mr. Wendell Clarke, is now President of the Poultry Association. Ovotherm is proud to work with him and his company "Starchick" since the introduction of the most creative brand "Follow the Star" over 10 years ago - eggs naturally packed in glassclear Supersell 1x12 and 2x6.
Now the honest seethrough packs in the egg display have become the benchmark for highest quality fresh eggs which do not have to hide.
The latest World Egg day in 2010 was a very special event: The Director General of the International Egg Commission (IEC) Mr. Julian Medelay visited Barbados and supported the introduction of eggs for schoolchildren within the IEC program "Feed the World". He and Mr. Wendell Clarke promoted this humanitarian initiative of the IEC throughout Barbados supported by all media like TV, radio and press.
