Telavang and Ovotherm: A success story

Telavang Group of Companies, established in 1977 by its owner Mehdi Masoumi, is the largest private production group within the poultry and feed industry of Iran. The group consists of 15 independent companies with over 950 employees and business premises including production saloons, raw materials stores, administration buildings and research laboratories. Telavang has an extensive range of products including for example: Pasteurized liquid egg, broilers and day old chicks, Vitamin and mineral supplements for poultry and livestock and of course graded and properly packed shell eggs in a variety of pack sizes.
When Telavang started the branding of their high quality eggs and also establishing food safety, Mr. Mehdi Masoumi wanted the best possible packaging and started in 2000 to use crystalcear Ovotherm egg packs. Nowadays Telavang is a good example for other egg producers who are also using Ovotherm egg packs.
Telavang is internationally recognized as Iran's exclusive country member of the International Egg Commission (IEC) since 2000 and has since then established the International Egg Day with numerous egg promotions explaining the nutritional benefits of eggs in the press, but also using Radio and TV spots. Since then egg consumption is steadily increasing.
Telavang is the 2002 winner of the Crystal Egg Award, the IEC's prestigious international award for the best company in egg marketing due to its pioneering work with egg packaging for the first time in Iran.
Future plans include the production of boiled and coloured eggs packed in Ovotherm and the increase the export of eggs to other countries.
Right now Telavang is permanently using Ovotherm's clear Supersell 2x6, Showcase 2x9 and 1x15, decorated with very pleasing and eyecatching labels. For special promotions Starpack can be found in the egg displays as well.
