New Egg- Concepts in Latvia
Customers in Latvian supermarkets maybe will be surprised when they come to the egg display! They see a picture on the sleeve of an eggpack, showing the back of a guy with lots of muscles! This is one of the new concepts of “Balticovo”, eggproducer in Latvia. They want egg consumers to understand that by eating eggs you get a lot of protein which is necessary if you want to achieve a muscular body. They use Ovotherm’s clear eggpacks to pack 6 “Large” eggs and put a colourful printed sleeve (with nutrition information) over Supersell 2x6, which also seals the pack – another step towards Food Safety.
Balticovo uses the same concept for their “Medium” size eggs – but here you can see three very cute and healthy looking kids together with a boiled egg. The information is the same: Eggs are good, healthy and nutritious food for all of us – whether we are still in school, bodybuilders or just people like you and me!
