„Tracebility“ in Canada
„Verified Eggs“ is a group of Canadian Egg producers who are establishing dated eggs in Canada. This is new for this part of the world, although it is common standard in Europe! The 12 Large “Omega 3” eggs are packed in glassclear Ovotherm Supersell 1x12 made of R-PET, where the costumer can see the eggs and the printed date on the eggs. Beside the intent to distinguish eggs produced in Canada from imported eggs, “Verified Eggs” established complete traceability.

This additional measure of quality control will ensure a higher degree of public safety while reflecting positively on the industry's proactive efforts and concern for public health.”
The pack is decorated with an eyecatching label (where consumers get information about a competition to win $500 ). So this concept - including the usage of environmentally friendly, crystalclear R-PET packaging – will surely attract a lot of interest (and sales!) in the supermarkets!
