News from the V.I.V
Again Utrecht in the Netherlands hosted Europe's largest exhibition of and for the poultry industry. So - no wonder that also the leaders of the egg world visited the V.I.V. between May 16 and 18, 2006. All major suppliers of egg grading equipment, genetics and egg packaging had stands there. The very well visited and commented for it's attractiveness exhibition booth of Ovotherm surely was one of the "egg highlights" following the motto: When you have got it – show it!Many interested egg industry leaders enjoyed the presentation of white, brown and boiled and coloured eggs in most creatively decorated clear packaging.
Ovotherm's CEO  Franz Hofer and his team with Walter Baumann, Petra Küblböck, Hana Michalkova, Octavio Gomez, Bohumir Horr and Daniel Nunhardt were able to greet guests form all over the world. Most of them where already existing happy costumers, but also many new contacts, which showed a lot of interest in the advantages of clear packaging. Willi Kallhammer, Senior Partner in Ovotherm and current chairman of the International Egg Commission was able to meet old friends of the IEC and convince new members also to come to the annual IEC conference in Guadalajara, Mexico September 17 - 20, 2006.
The V.I.V. in Utrecht 2006 (including the party on the evening of the 17th with lots of visitors) was a great success and as Franz Hofer put it: For Ovotherm – Clearly the best!
