The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) reported record-breaking numbers for this year´s show, with over 33.000 attendees and 1.420 exhibitors on 60.000sqm, visiting Atlanta, Georgia from February 12 to 14.

Described as the world´s largest annual Egg, Poultry and Meat Event, IPPE exhibitors showcased some of the newest technologies in equipment, supplies, marketing and services introduced by enterprises in the international  Egg and Poultry industry as well as in the meat sector. The US Poultry and Egg Association, the American Feed Industry and the North American Meat Institute were the main sponsors of this exciting event. In addition to the  show which covered all three huge halls this year, other events were featured: The International Poultry and Science Forum, the Latin American Poultry Summit, an on-floor Tech Talk program and more than 200 hours of education sessions were offered to attendees during the three-day show.

Ovotherm was again very well represented in an open, inviting booth that became the meeting point of many leaders of the global egg industry. CEO Franz Hofer was supported by his international team, consisting of Octavio and Raoul Gomez, who were taking excellent care of the Spanish speaking customers of Ovotherm, Petra Küblböck, Manuel Pratscher and Senior Partner Willi Kallhammer.

Visitors from North and South America as well as from Asia and Europe enjoyed to hear the latest news about the environmentally and consumer  friendly clear egg packs made 100% of recycled beverage bottles to make use of postconsumer waste in the most intelligent way.
