The International Production and Processing Expo was held in Atlanta from January 28 to 30 and had again a great turnout of around 32.000 attendees of poultry, meat and feed industries from all over the world. The increased exhibition space of over 60.000 square meters was covered by nearly 1400 exhibitors who were happy to see an increase of 8% in the number of buyers. IPPE is sponsored by the U.S. Poultry & Eggs Association, American Feed Industry Association and the North American Meat Institute and is the world´s largest event of its kind. This complements IPPE´s unparalleled education sessions, invaluable networking opportunities and exhibits showcasing the latest technology, equipment and services of the meat, feed and poultry and eggs industries from production to processing and packaging.

The comprehensive education program schedule informed industry management about quality issues in poultry and egg businesses, biosecurity and the drive for antibiotic-free production as well as environmentally best methods to serve the consumer market.

Ovotherm was represented at the show by its CEO Franz Hofer and his team consisting of Petra Küblböck, Manuel Pratscher, Octavio and Raoul Gomez and Senior Partner Willi Kallhammer. They all enjoyed the high attendance and were able to greet visitors from USA, Canada, Central and South America as well as guests from the Caribbean, Africa and Europe.

The next IPPE Show is scheduled for January 26 to 28, 2021 in Atlanta.
